Welcome to the TRP Blog!

Tucson Runners Project is full of amazing people!  We all know our members are incredible athletes and enthusiastic runners.  Our Facebook page is a continuous flow of friendly encouragement, smart advice, and humorous comments.  But maybe some of us have a bit more to share than is convenient on a facebook post.  Do you have some valuable insight about running that you want to share with the TRP community?  This blog is the place to let your thoughts flow freely!

In order to make sure the blog does not get filled up with spam or inappropriate content, all posts must be submitted for approval.  You can do this by sending your proposed blog to either Shokofeh or Keith.  Plain text is fine, or you can add photos to provide a visual element.  If you prepare it as a Word document, we will attempt to preserve the formatting.

Of course, we do reserve the right, using our own judgement, to edit or decide not to publish your blog.  Some basic rules about how we will determine what is an "appropriate" blog posting:

  • Your blog must be about running or walking, or a topic that would be of interest to runners and walkers.  For example, blogs about training plans, race reports, injury prevention, nutrition, etc. would all be good.
  • Blogs must not contain profanity or inflammatory comments.
  • This will not be the place to post direct or indirect marketing solicitations.
  • We will not accept blogs that promote alternate training groups, or announce runs that conflict with the regular TRP group run schedule.
OK, so do you want to write?  Ready, Set, GO!!!
